Design Technique
- Your Consolidated Model is
a profile, 1:36 scale, hand launched, control line model. Its multi-engine
layout and component construction (held together with rubber bands) are unique.
- The rubber band assembly is
designed for two reasons: (1) ease of storage and (2) interchangeable
parts. Although the aircraft possesses striking beauty, every now and then
its large size can be a problem if, for example, you are trying to store many
airplanes or if you are transporting a number of flying models. Your Consolidated
Model can be quickly disassembled and re-assembled to minimize the required
storage area or to prevent damage to the plane during transport.
